Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 20 to 32 years for post no. 01, 18 to 32 years for post no. 02, below 32 years for post no. 03 & 04 as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent & should have the ability to read, write and speak Bengali or Nepali for post no. 01, Degree from a recognized University or equivalent & should be acquainted with social customs and culture of the Minorities of West Bengal for post no. 02, Bachelor’s degree with Anthropology or Economics and Sociology with two years experience on Socio-economic investigation surveys and analysis of data in an Organization or Institute of repute for post no. 03, 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Fishery Science, should have knowledge of Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic resources and Fishing Harbours in West Bengal & should be able to read and write Bengali or Nepali for post no. 04.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test & Interview.
Examination Fees/ Processing Fees:
Through Online: Candidates should pay Rs.20/- (Processing Fee) for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates, Rs.220/- (Rs.200/- (Examination Fee) + Rs.20/- (Processing Fee)) for other category candidates can pay through payment gateway using Debit Cards/ Credits Cards/ Net banking of any bank. An amount of Rs. 5/- only will be charged by the concerned agency as “Service Charge” for availing Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking facility.
Through Online by Tathya Mitra Kendras: Candidates should pay Rs.40/- (Processing fees – Rs.20/- and Service Charge – Rs.20/-) for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates, Rs.240/- (Examination fees – Rs.200/-, Processing fees – Rs.20/- and Service Charge – Rs.20/-) for other category candidates to the authorized staff of the Tahthy Mitra Kendra.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.wbssc.gov.in on or before 19-01-2015 till 4:00 PM.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before going to apply online candidates need to scan their copies of photograph and signature.
2. Log on through the website www.wbssc.gov.in.
3. Click on the ‘Apply’ —> Select the appropriate position applied for.
4. Read the instructions and advertisement carefully.
5. Click on Apply Online.
6. Fill the details carefully and upload the scanned copies of photograph and signature.
7. Check the details and submit the application form.
8. On successful submission of application an auto generated receipt with Registration Number will be generated.
9. Note down the Registration Number & take the printout copies of application form for future use.
Through Tathya Mitra Kendras: Eligible candidates may submit the applications through Tathya Mitra Kendras along with all particulars and a passport size photograph, authorized staff will fill the applications and pay the fee through the online on or before 19-01-2015 till 4:00 PM.
